Minew couldn't help but be careful with Ethan. Despite Ethan's constant reassurances than he was stronger than he looked, when put properly into an army uniform, he looked like little more than a twig, bound to break in the lightest of breezes.

And without the proper army uniform, Minew found himself counting Ethan's ribs and wondering how a boy who seemed to eat his weight on a daily basis could stay so thin. Wherever Ethan had gotten his genetics, Minew thought, beautiful people abounded.

Running a hand down over Ethan's stomach, Minew heard Ethan gasp softly, the sound barely audible even in the late night stillness of the castle.
