Reika knew she really shouldn't, but unable to sleep and not wanting to bother anyone else, she slipped from her room and through Deava's shadows.

The Vectors were still being repaired and cleaned and Reika kept her distance to keep the mechanical crew safe. But she could see the emerald green of Vector Luna sparkling under a bank of spotlights as techs hurried around.

She wasn't worried about it and she wasn't... she didn't feel guilty about the damage. They'd all done well and a few dents and scrapes were about the worst of it. Reika just wanted to see it - see it and Sol and Mars and...

"Can't sleep?"

"Me neither..."

Reika turned on the catwalk, not even sure if she should be surprised that her partners from the battle were both standing there in their pajamas as well, obviously drawn to the Vectors for the same reason.

"There's plenty of room," Reika said softly. It was nice to have them close - she'd merged with them earlier. In a way, they probably belonged together for just a bit longer.

And then they didn't bother to speak - there weren't any words anyway, just the spotlights and the shadows and the fleeting feeling that everything was going to be okay.
