Soushi knew that Kazuki didn't realize he was broadcasting everything loudly and clearly through their link. Most of it was barely at a conscious level anyway, but that didn't matter since it was all flowing through in such a rush that Soushi had to actively try to filter it instead of just sending the chaff off at a subconscious level. He wondered if his own thoughts were as strange as Kazuki's were - he didn't think so, but... Kuramae had never mentioned receiving anything out of the ordinary. And he'd certainly not gotten anything from her that he didn't already know about. But Kuramae was very different from Kazuki.

They were supposed to be gathering data, after all, so Soushi didn't really want to say anything that would distort what was happening naturally. It was just... distracting beyond belief when, in the midst of recording reactions and thoughts about the simulation and how the unit was responding, there would be something utterly ridiculous about the syngergetic suits and why didn't Soushi wear one or if he didn't know what Soushi was wearing, would his mind's version of Soushi appear naked...

Soushi knew better than to let any of it affect him too much. But he'd definitely need to have some words - some very awkward words - with Kazuki once they'd finished for the day.
